Dr Nass, Please tell me you aren’t allowing Substack numbers to determine your happiness.

Your value is so much more than that.

I’m here, in Maine, and survived Covid. So very thankful for all that you endured (and sadly continue to endure!) to spread truth and stand against the lies. Your work influenced my healthcare decisions and I will be forever grateful.

I don’t often comment, and I know I’m not alone, but I read your work constantly. Substack numbers don’t show the big picture.

Please keep doing what you’re doing and trust that your work will land exactly where God intends it to land. 🙏

Your last sentence has always been my motto. That is why I have not made much effort to expand my blogs' reach.

Somehow it has worked!

Interesting stuff there.

One correction.:

"It’s a billionaire-backed, corrupt authoritarian regime that rewards its wealthy loyalists while imposing economic hardship on everyone else."

It's more accurately described as a billionaire-backed, corrupt authoritarian SYSTEM, etc.

And always has been.

Congrats on the great work so far! Substack is changing but I’m confident that you keep on putting great work out there, more will come and numbers will grow.

I’m new here, but share similar sentiments on Covid and all things truth related.

The tide is in our favor. 2025 gave us huge wins. I can see Substack continuing to allow this message to grow as it supports its model.

Here’s some of the pieces I’ve written on:

True, Substack doesn't work like Slashdot or Reddit or many other discussion boards where suffcient negative ratings will turn a comment invisible.

Thank you for all the information you share! The "Notes" section of Substack is a powerful tool for exposure. Here is an article explaining some of it. You can also restack your subscriber articles to Notes to widen your reach. https://escapethecubicle.substack.com/p/i-just-learned-how-substacks-notes?r=y4nfq&utm_medium=ios&triedRedirect=true

Dear Meryl, I read a lot online since the covid scam and compared to other publicists you are so thorough, so profound and so unstoppable. Thank you so much for that. I'm sure that truth will prevail in the end.

My small battle here in The Netherlands is about truth in medical science. A fight against mandated institutional bureaucrat model "truth" called "consensus". I keep saying science is by definition not institutional consensus, on the contrary. Science is doubt. When a medical protocol may not be doubted, it's religion and the end of science. (What the "liberal" postmodernists want)

We who are believers are the lucky ones. I only became a believer late, when I realized I was being given messages of what I was supposed to do. So I do it, and the messages keep coming.

I think people need to be taught how to listen for their messages.

This, from Clarissa Pinkola Estes, always shifts my perspective and gives me a renewed sense of purpose. https://www.dailygood.org/story/1538/do-not-lose-heart-we-were-made-for-these-times-clarissa-pinkola-estes/ and the 1200 year old Tibetan prophecy, told to Joanna Macy, also seems to describe our moment.

Our food, even according to the USDA, has half the nutrition it used to have (not to mention what else is in it), so it really helps to find out what your hormone, neurotransmitter, and vitamin/mineral status is. We wouldn't let plants go without the nutrients they need, so why ourselves? Music from when you were young will help. The body and mind receive oxytocin (the motherhood hormone) and dopamine, AND every brain circuit that has so far been mapped is recruited by music (this is from I Heard There Was A Secret Chord daniel J. Levitin), so whatever tech or metaphysics is attempting to breach your mind seems less likely to gain a foothold. I have a whole tape of mindless bubblegum fifties music that cheers me up enormously. We're getting only 3-4 minutes more light since the solstice, so candlelight and firelight for infra red, and full spectrum house lights to try and replenish a bit. And find something funny to read or watch.

The problem of civilization, one of them, Jordan Peterson says, is that dark triad psychopaths seek power, and out of 8 billion of us, there are 300 million of them. Love goes below their radar though. Tragic, unpredictable, terrible days, but remember Clarissa:

"It is not given to us to know which acts or by whom, will cause the critical mass to tip toward an enduring good. What is needed for dramatic change is an accumulation of acts – adding, adding to, adding more, continuing. We know that it does not take “everyone on Earth” to bring justice and peace, but only a small, determined group who will not give up during the first, second, or hundredth gale.

…One of the most calming and powerful actions you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your soul. Soul on deck shines like gold in dark times.

The light of the soul throws sparks, can send up flares, builds signal fires … causes proper matters to catch fire. To display the lantern of soul in shadowy times like these – to be fierce and to show mercy toward others, both — are acts of immense bravery and greatest necessity. Struggling souls catch light from other souls who are fully lit and willing to show it. If you would help to calm the tumult, this is one of the strongest things you can do...." from the link above

And you are a brave, shining soul Dr. Nass, your light visible from great distances!

I read your email and comments. I am sorry that I can only read free stuff. I am an older senior struggling to live on an inadequate SSA check. I can't do paid subscriptions which is the sad, sorry truth about being old in this country. You say you are desperately seeking something to be happy about but if you have life, decent health and a few good friends, you are wealthy. I hope your subscribers show up for you and that you have a great year.
