Rumsfeld announced on September 10, 2001, that about $3T was unaccounted for at the Pentagon. The next day a cruise missile (not a plane) hit the VERY OFFICE in which the investigation into to missing $3T was being conducted. (And the FBI confiscated all video / closed-circuit security cameras for miles around from gas stations, banks, office complexes, etc.)
