A little OT (but not really): What an unmistakable indication of a mechanism for concealing political liability at the cost of actually "doing their job" and serving the public and the office they hold: That a bill can "die" by being ignored by the governor. It should be the exact opposite: A bill passed by a legislative branch of Government should go into effect automatically after a reasonable period of inaction by the Executive (Dept.) That would seem to be a much better approximation of the will of the people, all while encouraging the political accountability purported to be the aim of our system of government. Sounds familiar, but can't swear that I know the work.. Paquette is a remarkable individual, but his work is truly unique, and I didn't use the word "monumental" lightly: Both his methods and the actual accomplishment/revelations are well described with the term. He's a good writer, and I wouldn't be surprised for many here to find his views on important issues to be "copacetic, "in line", choose your term. Well worth a look, and that's why I bothered to include his "location" for the convenience of any who choose to do so.

I would rather buy my meat from a small producer who doesn't force feed the animal and inject it and inject. More like grass feed.
The Concentrated feed lots where they house 10,000 cattle are breeding grounds for C-Diff and E-Coli. C-Diff kills over 30,000 Americans yearly and the issue is not addressed. I read that 6 % of the cattle are infected with C-Diff. The close quarters keep it rampant.! My view.
PS: two years ago I mistakenly ate a rare filet and in 24 hours I had a serious bleeding issue that would have resulted in death if it had not been for Mayo and intensive anti-biotic thearphy. Lost two friends to C-diff. Hospitals are not doing their job.

This is not exactly true. In NH, if the governor doesn't sign, it will still become law so long as the legislature is still in session. Even if the legislature is adjourned, she has a longer period of time and if she does nothing, it still becomes law. The only way to stop a bill from becoming law is the governor's active veto (which even that can be overridden by the legislature).
Note that she has already let several bills become law without her signature this session. So it would not be unheard of for her to just quietly let it become law with no action.

For instance, as a dairy farmer I just got an exemption inserted in the NC Farm Act regarding farm composting within the new stricter compost rules - which would've affected our brand new micro slaughter processing plant. (We're now vertically integrated on our 60 cow grass-based farm).
Meryl, try to get in touch somehow with Fernald Farm in Nottingham (they have ice cream). Also the Stuart farm in Stratham. Lorraine Stuart Merrill was NH Ag Sec for many years. And the Phyllis Harvey at the Harvey farm in Epping, all Rockingham County). Also Phil Sanborn in Lee (first farm I worked on back in 1975) and Jeff Hollister also in Lee as well as employees at the UNH organic dairy farm (also in Lee) and Scruton's up in Farmington (all Strafford County).
Alert them. They may find it interesting or they might not care. But they are real farmers.

My dad died from C diff--he was already somewhat debilitated.
