My favorite absurdism from the hilarious Leftist lexicon is 'climate justice.' How deranged would one have to be to find a meaningful use for that term?

We're here to save you from "climate justice." It may cost a lot, but who cares?

Every one of these words is nebulous; they do not contain a central, concrete definition.

Not that every word needs a concrete definition.

But policy based on nebulous terminology is ripe for manipulation.

This list of "weasel words" is a very good primer on definition manipulation.

_______________

And these terms really gained traction in the covid/post-covid years. I hear Obama's voice saying "flood the zone with bullshit" - - -

I thought it was Steve Bannon who used that phrase.

My memory, which is why I say, "I thought." Does anyone have a source for attributing it to BO?

I forgot to save the link.

But what do you do if a nonbinary uterine-person calls you an underprivileged chest-feeder, effectively trampling all over your intersectionality?

These kinds of questions keep me up at night.

I am a bit distraught at not finding "New York Times" or "NYT" in the list.

The/y forgot one of the UN/WEF buzzwords--sustainable.

How long do you think it’ll take these people to realize it’s over?

Please make this come to Canada. We need to get rid of this kind of talk.

Most of this is great, but I do object to women being erased.

Doesn't the NYT have better things to do?

Doesn't a Presidential task force?

Declaring Certain Words to be Off Limits sounds unpleasantly like Political Correctness.

Affirming care: I really dislike that term good riddance= physical, chemical castration and that’s affirming just what exactly?

since when is the word “women” a term of woke endearment? and i see they didn’t eliminate the word “man” or “men.” just woman. they’ve been at war with us [women] since day one—and if we want to rid ourselves of gender woo we must be able to use the only appropriate word which is “sex,” which is similarly verboten. ‘sex’ is the biological category instead of social category (which is gender).

this gets two thumbs down from me.

Well, first of all it doesn’t say “erase,” it says “limit or avoid.” Second of all, this is the New York Times, which has zero credibility. It’s not even clear where they got this list. Has anyone read the full article? Do they provide a source? The Gray Lady must be scrutinized! She will lie, lie, lie.

"Sex observed after birth" should prove acceptable, yes?

Well it just breaks my poor wittle heart that we might never see or hear these words again. I am so sad, I’ll go outside and eats worms.
