Thank you Dr. Nass. It seems that the woman at the Tag Agency when I went to register my vehicle and renew my driver's license led me to believe that the Passport was not sufficient. This could have been cleverly done by simply circumventing my direct question and answering that the "Real I.D. will be required" (not categorically indicating that the Passport would not be rejected).
Also, what about foreigners visiting the U.S.? Clearly they will not have a "Real I.D." And surely to fly out of the U.S. with no U.S. connections should be permissible without a Real I.D.
This is pure nudging bamboozlement that they are doing.
I got my passport renewed just before they added biometrics to the process, however Texas has Real-IDd the driver's license, and the renewal of my Texas Medical license required me to give fingerprints of all 10 fingers and some very special facial photography.
Of concern to me, as it should be to all of us, is the Social Security Administration changing the status of living people ("first they came for the illegal aliens...") to "Deceased", which locks up their bank accounts, credit cards and makes their employers have to stop employing them, because payroll taxes cannot be paid.
This process of de-humanization is always deadly in history, once it reaches critical-mass in a society.
I was fired for "vaccine refusal" in October 2021, after seeing/testing more COVID patients than anybody else in my clinic, and being the only early-treating prescriber, mostly prescribing ivermectin-based treatment and prophylaxis, and giving away 40,000 doses of 5000 IU vitamin-D3 in 2020.
We may all recall how close we got to "Unvaccinated Concentration Camps".
And closing borders can have different implications, is it closed to only those from outside? Just look at current Ukraine, where people are locked inside and have to cut barbed wire to get OUT of the war zone while risking getting caught and sent to jail / war or getting killed.
from the TSA website..." Passengers who present a state-issued identification that is not REAL ID compliant and who do not have another acceptable alternative (i.e. Passport) can expect to face delays, additional screening and the possibility of not being permitted into the security checkpoint." I am not complying with REAL ID. for certain.
Thank you, Meryl. I have been putting out disinformation fires on REAL ID all day today thanks in part to this alarming article (https://amuseonx.substack.com/p/real-id-real-hysteria-democrats-are) using the false blue-red dichotomy to deceive conservatives into supporting the tyrannical REAL ID, including one of my very awake subscribers, shockingly:
"Your email reminded me of my disregard for my principles. Thank you."
This was a major wake-up call to me that we need to raise awareness in the dissident community about the hazards of REAL ID, which I thought would be obvious but evidently are not given the partisan propagandizing being used to sway conservatives.
I live in Maine. I had to renew my driver's license a few months ago, and at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles I was asked if I wanted REAL ID. I thought it was probably - as you said - "just another way to be tracked." Since I don't don't like flying and have no reason to fly, I just got a regular driver's license. I've been thinking, though, about what I would do if I absolutely had to get on an airplane for some reason. Now I know there are options.
We have to make sure they stop changing the status of living people to "Deceased" at Social Security, which they have just begun with Illegal Aliens, locking them out of their jobs, bank accounts, credit cards and rentals...
Margaret Anna Alices substack post is incorrect in saying Real Id Licenses aren't for surveillance. The newer drivers licenses have chips in them so yes if the government wants to know where you are the chips can tell them every time you board a flight just like smart phones track you 24/7.
The thing I find interesting is that (as many have said in comments) Trump may be going along with the digital ID and similar initiatives in society... BUT he already issued an EO forbidding CBDC. That is a big deal, of course. Thoughts?
(Even more potentially off-topic: I recall when it was revealed that NSA was collecting data and essentially surveilling all US citizens... and there was nary a peep of complaint. People all seem to accept that now with a shrug at best.)
It doesn't seem much different than the old ID. They already have my picture and address. I don't see how this actually proves my identity better. It is bringing in money because I had to buy a new birth certificate. It is funny the grocery store wants to see my ID to buy beer since I am over 60. It is just data scraping.
Thank you Meryl. I'm going to just get the cheaper driver's license when it comes up for renewal. We can do that here in Kentucky. Unbelievable. They charge more for a Real ID that's used to keep better track of us. We have the option to pay more for our own surveillance. Absurd. The psychopaths never lose an opportunity to make a buck.
We are paying for the tracking devices and software in our phones, cars, smart appliances so they can beam out information about us. Why can't you buy a $15K Japanese car here?
Yup! I never got smart appliances, but I do have a smart TV. I think about getting rid of it often. My car is 10+ years old (not sure what tracking devices may be on it). I wouldn't get a new car even if it was given to me! I'd be tempted to roll it off a cliff. Eventually we'll probably be able to buy that $15K Japanese car here, but it will cost double to cover the expense of security devices on it! After all, WE have to pay for our own surveillance. It's only a matter of time. I only take my phone with me in the car unless I absolutely have to. When I do, I put it in a Faraday bag if I'm going very far. My phone is also about 10 years old and so is my desktop computer (I've covered the camera with a taped on coin and only take it off when I Zoom per the advice of Edward Snowden many years ago). I'm sure all these devices have surveillance software on them, but it's gotten far more sophisticated over time. It's not possible to have all my bases covered, but I do what I can. It disgusts me to no end that "1984" has become a reality in the 21st Century and that WE pay for this surveillance. No wonder the "Illuminati" think we're idiots. They've been very successful about pulling the wool over our eyes, but their day is coming. I don't know how, and don't when, but it is surely coming thanks to bright shining stars like you. Trump has my blessings in his attempt to dismantle the deep state.
I didn't even realize I had a "real ID" until I looked at my license the other day. I renewed a few years ago and the agent didn't even mention that I was getting a "real ID". I'm so sick of having to "prove" who I am just to live.
Tennessee requires a 'GOLD STAR' DL to vote. You need a Original or certified copy of your BC, Passport, proof like a utility bill you have resided in the State for the reqiured time. No Prison record, they check that. It helps to still have your old voter's registration. I had to get mine to vote in 2024.
We had an incident with a Senior whose parents went to Canadsa to work, he was born in Canada, thus a Canadian BC. BOTH USA CITIZENS. Went to school, Military, and Long Haul 50 year truck driver. On that Canadian BC. A ignorant clerk denied him his Gold Star DL. Took his DL. Took months to fix the simple issue. And I'd bet the clerk was A LIBERAL.
Since we are a Retired Military family, we know what is required when children are born to Active duty overseas. On US Military bases which is US SOIL. Child gets 2 BC's 1 US Embasy, 1 the country's, a US Passport. At 18 you renounce foreign Citizenship. YOU CAN ONLY OWE ALLEGIENCE TO ONE COUNTRY. DUAL CITIZEN SHIP IS NOT IN THE US CONSTITUTION.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought SSA was changing status only of people over 120 years old, who are most likely not living.
No, some undocumented aliens are experiencing this too.
How are undocumented (aka illegal) aliens getting SSA anyway?
Isn’t that a crime?

We are witnessing our society’s transformation into a “your papers please” dystopia.
Real id = one step closer to digital id
Your SS # is a defacto National ID, since it is now issued at BIRTH. I didn't get mine until I was 16 and able to get a job.
We have to make sure they stop changing the status of living people to "Deceased" at Social Security, which they have just begun with Illegal Aliens, locking them out of their jobs, bank accounts, credit cards and rentals...
It is $30 dollars extra to get the Real ID in Pennsylvania, along with the regular renewal fee for the driver's licence.
Also, not mandatory to get the Real ID in Pennsylvania.
Real ID or passport is required if you want to fly in May in Pennsylvania.
Yes, a passport is fine.
My point was that it is not mandatory to have the Real ID driver's license in PA.
Margaret Anna Alices substack post is incorrect in saying Real Id Licenses aren't for surveillance. The newer drivers licenses have chips in them so yes if the government wants to know where you are the chips can tell them every time you board a flight just like smart phones track you 24/7.

"just travel with my passport" - so you can be ready to leave when you have to.
Oh yes, I just renewed my passport last week, because there's no way in hell I'm going to get Real ID!!
It doesn't seem much different than the old ID. They already have my picture and address. I don't see how this actually proves my identity better. Don’t they scan your face now for real id?
I’m not ok with fingerprints and facial scanning at all.
That’s an invasion of privacy to me.
Thank you Dr. Nass for sharing. People think they need a real id to travel.
I will use my passport.
"They" want to associate the real id to our bodies DNA. It's frightening what they have planned.
Do not comply
And don't do any DNA blood tests as part of tracing your ancestry, or any other such seemingly innocuous purposes.
Yes, 23 and me…who owns that data now.
Smart watches, phone payments ….all nudging us closer to implanted chip acceptance.
People are blind.
Federal Crimes & Court...those folks need this to attend court??
Crazy huh? Try and enforce that one
