Thank you, Meryl. I am glad you mentioned not trusting AI. I have no intention of ever trusting it! Google and others have been censoring so much critical data we cannot rely on anything they are putting out anymore!
We’ve been doing our own composting for years. I’ve stayed away from anything in the big box stores, and I am so glad you spoke about it! So many people don’t believe how bad so much of it is. Another thing I do in the fall is put the leaves that drop from our trees into our flower beds after they have been mulched when I am mowing and they are blown right in them. So the mower does all the work and I just direct into the flower beds as it mulches it. It breaks down over the winter and protects the plants from hard freezes especially now that our weather is all over the place in winter and spring extremes. Then in the spring it helps control the weeds. If people mulch, then put it right on top. We get fresh mulch from the tree companies and let it compost over the winter and use that. We will even use fresh mulch when we get it if we don’t have enough from the prior year. We don’t buy treated mulch. Tree companies are always looking for somewhere to drop the mulch when they cut trees and we are fortunate to have a number of them now who will bring it to us.
Yes, I agree that AI has massive censorship guardrails built-in--a feature --not a bug. There are variations depending upon the learning model data "flavor du jour". The learning models themselves have guardrails. 1984 on steroids.
We have seen nothing yet. Massive, **nuclear-powered** data centers are planned on huge swaths of land throughout the US (and likely elsewhere).
These data centers will be capable of providing the massive data storage and processing power required for collecting trillions of data points not just only on every human but ultimately every living thing. The environment and our food supply is at best collateral damage; at worst intentional.
They will consume massive resources (electricity and water). The following links offer a bit more insight. This is happening without the general knowledge of the population
Make your own manure teas if u have your own farm animals. if not u can use comfry, nettles, stir in water, let sit. this is your own , as far as u know not contaminated natural fertilizer. also use green manures before planting your beds. four weeks before planting turn them under, clover, rye etc. try , however u can to keep commercially produced products out of your garden. bad enough microplastics in rain and pfas's also compromise the whole thing but.......... we can only do what we can do and try............. imo of course.
A little known garden contaminant is grazon and other herbicides in composted manure. Thse broadleaf herbicide picked up in hay is passed through the animal to the manure. Composting does not break down the herbicide. Effects include early death of the plant, deformed leaves, no fruiting and deformed fruit.
This article details the problem and some mitigation approaches.
My garden is heavily polluted with these herbicides and I have been struggling with it for years. I have been putting in raised beds this year hut this is expensive. Bringing in truly organic soil costs more than the beds and it's difficult to know what to trust. The amount of lying, cover up, denial and just plain ignorance is tremendous.
'PFAS, or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, are a group of synthetic chemicals used in various industries, including biofuels. These chemicals are known for their persistence in the environment and their potential health risks. Researchers are exploring ways to manage PFAS contamination in biofuel production and waste management.'
If sludge & fertilizers are in the ground, which would get into the water supply, how can spring water be trusted? Not to mention the microplastics in bottled water, unless it's in glass. For me, it's a KDF-GAC undercounter filter from Pure Technologies in Marietta, Ga, then distilling my water for cooking & drinking. My minerals come from my food, from Juice Plus (organic whole foods with enzymes & minerals intact), & from Global Healing Ormus Earth Minerals, & Ultimate Minerals from Green Smoothie Girl.
Yep, that's how I found the best natural spring in my area -- we have several. My former husband now owns the "best" one in our area, bought the land a few years ago. Many come there for their water, as does he. I always wonder, what if someone put something in the water, back up the way? His spring comes out of a mountain, but I'm sure that somewhere it is also above ground. :)
True! What about reverse osmosis filters? I wish there was a way to get spring water from the actual springs in the homes around the country! Anyone who could figure that out would be good to know! Although the springs would dry up completely!
What the government allows in our food, air and water is disgusting at best.
The comment that human waste is good for the garden is misleading. If you are planting food you do not want any human waste in the soil. Many very serious things are transmitted through human waste even after having been "treated". Even if you are planting grass and flowers, you are still putting it into the soil and ground water.
The comment re flouride gets to the truth. Flouride is poison and the government knew it all along. They tried to justify it by saying it was necessary.
Processing flourine is needed for nuclear bombs and does NOT have any health benefits at all. Forced into our drinking water and MANY other things simply to dispose of it.
Read " The Flouride Deception" it exposes the truth with documented information from researchers, doctors and scientist for decades. It is toxic to our bodies and the dental community has been brainwashed into propogating the lie.
You are not wrong. The dump of fluoride into the water supply and the use in dental applications is unbelievably egregious. When my children were young and going to the dentist I faced constant pressure to allow fluoride treatments to “protect their teeth.” Nope nope nope!
Right now this is changing. RFK is leading on the Fed level however the state of Utah just banned fluoridation of the public water. As you mention the Dental Cartel advocated for public water fluoridation but also use it topically in their offices.
Just say NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OsteoSarcoma in the long bones of adolescent males has been widely known as a consequence of water fluoridation for over 35 years...
"Flouride is poison and the government knew it all along. They tried to justify it by saying it was necessary."
True, and making it worse is that we have "teachers," two of whom I know, including a "professor" of environmental science who tried to gaslight me regarding fluoride added to drinking water, and another who claims that "the solution to pollution is dilution."
I cringe when I think of how many innocent minds have been polluted by these supercilious, dismissive, ignorant, virtue-signaling, dimwits.
One can expect and document a decrease in IQ of about 15-20 points where fluoridation of the public water has been used. The CDC keeps stats by state for those interested including the history. Ever wonder why there are so many stupid people?? This is a partial explanation.
“In 1959, the U.S. Army was responsible for supervising a contract with Honeywell to produce assemblies for anti-personnel grenades and mines…[so some of it was dumped into Lake Superior]”
Thank you for spreading the word, Meryl. Far too many are not aware of this. I have been, for years, and am very careful with what I buy for my garden. I use no pesticides and make my own compost. I don't put commercial fertilizers or chemicals on my 2 1/2 acres. It's all natural, and safe to eat the wild, nutritional and medicinal plants that grow there. I'm a weed-eating herbalist. : )
I am lucky enough to have chickens and goats and lots of hay I can hand scythe Dow for my garden. In addition I have tons of leaves from our woods and we also have our own saw mill and wood shop which means copious amounts of bark, sawdust, and wood shavings. Into the saw dust and wood shavings we add our own pee. We also make barrels of charcoal from wood waste and pee on that too or mix it into our digester where we also put other solid waste from our own bodies along with worms etc. it all makes for adding to ever increasing depths of beautiful soil. Of course the food that goes into our mouths and those of our livestock is all organic and mostly agri-chemical free (. Hard to be 100% here especially for that which is purchased from other sources rather than grown here on our 30 acres). Is this easy? No. It is hard work but we we work at it all year long every day. We do not make a lot of money, but what we do make is a rich and rewarding life.
Yet another important reason to seek out independent farmers using regenerative, eco-agriculture practices - working with Nature - to produce high quality food while simultaneously restoring damaged soils, increasing yields, and repairing the hydrological cycle mitigating both droughts & floods - all without the used of any chemical pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or sewage sludge, aka "biosolids".
-
Let's support the independent eco-farmers in our areas, while we still have a choice.
-
Find these people at Farmer Markets and online. Or check the Farm & Garden section of Craigslist to find farms, market gardeners, and smallholders / 'homesteaders' too small to make booths at the market or websites practical.
-
Many of these also sell compost for your garden.
-
Chat with them to learn about their practices. Most are happy to share information about their farming practices with you. Our small farm never had sewage sludge applied, and hasn't had an chemical put on it in over 28 years. We raise our livestock as "Nature and Nature's God" intended. No doubt there is an independent farm near you using a similar approach.
I am happy that attention is being paid to sewage sludge.
Moreover, their use is considered biological instead of a bio weapon.
Here in Italy, the residues, uncomposted, i.e. not subject to bacterial degradation, from intensive farms (pigs, cows, etc.) are spread (at night in winter) on agricultural land.
The farmers pretend not to understand and collect large tips.
Soil fertility is damaged and the fault is polluted. Teruo Higa's research is available to everyone (actual microorganisms) but we should be intelligent people and not greedy stupid killers. Come on breed Japanese microbes and Nature will thank you
Unfortunately, the illegal disposal of toxic waste (poop is too) is big business. Together with drugs and human trafficking, it is one of the favorite businesses of large criminal organizations. There are not only Venezuelan or Mexican gangs but also esteemed gentlemen in ties who smile at us from the garden next to ours. I would say that they are the most dangerous
If you haven’t “you need” to read this book, I did years ago it will blow your mind!!
Silent Spring is an environmental science book by Rachel Carson. Published on September 27, 1962, the book documented the environmental harm caused by the indiscriminate use of DDT, a pesticide used by soldiers during World War II. Carson accused the chemical industry of spreading disinformation, and public officials of accepting the industry's marketing claims unquestioningly.
The story of the extensive use of toxic sewage sludge in agriculture is exhaustively documented in Duff Wilson's book Fateful Harvest. Brilliantly researched but one of the most depressing books I've read. Quite an eye-opener though.

That is so common sense. Why is common sense uncommon?
It may be because people comprehand nothing about biological priciples
and do not have the ability to observe. Some of us figured this out 50 years ago...
Building soil what a concept.
AI is trained on mainstream information (i.e., lies). It is inherently untrustworthy...
Make your own manure teas if u have your own farm animals. if not u can use comfry, nettles, stir in water, let sit. this is your own , as far as u know not contaminated natural fertilizer. also use green manures before planting your beds. four weeks before planting turn them under, clover, rye etc. try , however u can to keep commercially produced products out of your garden. bad enough microplastics in rain and pfas's also compromise the whole thing but.......... we can only do what we can do and try............. imo of course.
better yet worm casting tea with EM1 and molassas, requires small aquarium pump to aerate... Super fertilizer that is liquid...
Comfrey, nettles, water-ratios?
How / when/ quantities to apply?
Why is this a ‘fertilizer’?

Your point is very valuable. Have been worm farming only feeding them organic scraps.
Can use the castings directly or put in small bag added to rainwater with EM1 and molassas. Incredible liquid gold... Of course there are details...
Did you know that biofuels contain PFAS?
So rains upon us via the plane exhausts.

Another scam: Do not buy Brita waterfilters - this company is connected to the WEF.
Thanks.
There are other healthier water filters that actually get the fluoride and other chemicals out! Or buy Mountain Valley Spring Water in glass!
The water wars have been waged for 50 years. Personally have a very high quality
water distiller. Also have a ceramic dual filter gravity that holds 4 gal.
The best is an H2 AlkaViva machine but requires electricity and expensive filter changes. Use the different devices for different purposes.
My tap water is already pretty good as its ground water in this state...
There is much talk about free hydrogen in water as a health enhancer
We are talking about a few PPM. Cannot say I know for sure however do not get sick, but that has been true for decades.
So you must take your supplements so you don't get sick too! Thanks for all the info!
Did you test tap water, then new filter, then filter after 1 month? I did and bad results. Filters are another scam.
details always details
water filtration is not a scam, however one must know the capabilities of the various filters and PPM information
NO filter can remove all the fluoride, just defer to nature and drink spring water.

"If sludge & fertilizers are in the ground, which would get into the water supply, how can spring water be trusted? "
Exactly.
For instance, fluorinated organic compounds are found in rainwater and the air, so they almost certainly find their way into spring water as well.
I use rainwater on my garden and cringe because there's no escaping these "wonder" chemicals brought to us by corporate goons.
spring water is as good as the spring it came from
Many springs are uncontaminated. There are reasons and details.

definitely on the grow your own food
Local spring water from a tested source is excellent option
false, fluoride is easy to remove, its the heavy metals that are of greater concern and organic molecules
False, Sodium Fluoride called Fluoridation in public drinking water is impossible to remove 100%.
you are fear mongering, Captain
as mentioned the heavy metals and other contaminants like glyphosate is far greater concern than minisule assertions of 100%
Assuming you have assays to prove your assertion?

Not only have the oceans, our gardens, and our bodies been used as waste dumps, but so have the Great Lakes and rivers feeding into them.
Here are two of many examples.
