Instead, be proactive in keeping your children healthy by natural means of sunshine, wholesome diet, and exercise.
So here is the situation: my fearful, 50-something younger sister who gets every single shot and booster recommended by her doctor, has been spun up by measles being in the news. She says that the MMR shots she received as a child have already worn off (probably she's not wrong) and so she rushed out to get an MMR this week, as recommended by her doctor. She does NOT want to get measles!!!
My question: does anyone know the risk of her shedding anything unpleasant (measles, mumps and/or rubella) to someone like me, who is not at all fearful yet would rather not "catch" something from someone's vaccine shedding? Our loving parents saw to it that all of us siblings received our shots. Since I am older, I received all doses of a stand-alone measles vaccine when I was a small child, and I never caught measles. I have zero intention of ever getting another shot or booster for as long as I live, because of the risk-benefit equation, because I know how to take care of myself when I'm sick, and because I am disgustingly healthy compared with most humans.
Disgustingly? Me too, 69 occasionally take an aspirin to mitigate overdoing fun stuff. All my acquaintances are dying, who knew? Granny lived 100 years, my goal is 90.
If around someone unhealthy, the nasal saline flush with a few drops of Betadine in it will not hurt. Neil Med is convenient. Bonus from Betadine, iodine!
I don't like my growing awareness that most of my same-age friends are experiencing so many devastating health issues. It's like a horror movie. I have some much older, "role model" (healthy habits) friends I like to hang out with, and I'm also making friends with younger people. Unfortunately, though, most of them took those scam-shots and quite a few of them are still taking flu, RSV, pneumonia, shingles shots and multiple meds... It's sad to think I might outlive most of my peers, but life is also exciting, and I am planning to live for a few more (healthy) decades.
What I somewhat most worry about: being able to find a strong medical advocate in the event I end up in the hospital for one thing or another; someone who will go to bat for me and oversee my care, making sure no stealth shots or medicines are administered while I'm unable to advocate for myself. (I just try to stay out of the hospital... but I've been there as an advocate for friends and family, and I know what happens....)
Too many sad stories. Asked a question in school in the 60's, teacher took me out in the hall and worked me over. My take away, beating me is easier than answering the question. Hmm Keep asking!

How prophetic .It will be interesting to see the hospital records if anyone is ever aloud. They are doubling down on nothing but MMR. I would be willing to bet that the hospitals followed none of the traditional treatments for measles that have been used for decades. Vitamin A,C, and D. High dose vitamin A first 2 days, dark room, epsom salt baths steroids for breathing difficulties etc. It is really sad to see this rerun of the medical community ignoring and refusing treatments that work in order to push their agenda. It is much more obvious with the measles scare because a large number of people are still alive who know what it is. Just like people realizing they had been conned after they caught covid.
