We have 'Stand in the Park' meetings in the UK, a movement that started in Australia I believe - originally to deal with the Covid-lockdowns that of course prevented people from meeting indoors! Meetings are held every week across the country and although originally outdoors in the local parks, some groups are now meeting mid-week and in local restaurants/cafes etc. They offer primarily moral support, group help, advice, prepping ideas and of course opportunities for friendly banter. One problem they do have (and this is no doubt common around the world) is that they are attended mainly by 'oldies'! The young have no concept of the impending tyranny that is descending and are totally unprepared to blog up on it, or even join the resistance!
The meetings bring together mostly 'awake' people to discuss among other things the rapidly evolving governmental restrictions (in the UK) and mass legislation covering, for example: on-line censorship, the introduction of controls on demonstrations, growing restrictions on car use (with more in the planning stages, the appearance of fifteen/twenty minute cities (they don't yet call them that yet) but they do plan to introduce restrictions on car journeys such as the number of times you can travel from your home by car in a year - and we have ULEZ, a new daily charge for driving in zoned areas (most of Greater London) ostensibly to reduce pollution in town centres, but primarily to take more money off people and of course discourage the use of cars.
As my wife and I are new to these meetings I can't comment on all of the initiatives that have been made in the past by established members but one member (Denis Martin) used the most recent meeting to introduce a book he has written called 'Breaking the Chains' covering Conspiracy Theories, Critical Thinking and Awakening to Truth.
