It's true that the mRNA technology needs to be much more carefully tested, and probably modified. But this is not the main point with respect to the China-Virus vaccines. Rather, far and away the most important issue is the use of the entire virus spike in vaccines. This violates every tenet of Rational Vaccine Design. I tried to avoid it but it got to the stage where Malaysia was saying they were switching to the mRNA from Pfizer and a lot of talk about vaccines being m,andatory, so I finally caved in and let someone stab me with Sinovac. And promptly had a stroke, happily very short-lived (I thought it was a nerve thing at the time, realized it was a stroke later) and then heart issues started the next day, which I still have over a year later.
I agree with the writer above; it's the spike itself that's so toxic. However mRNA has it's own issues, as do the lipid nanoparticles/PEG, so for sure the mRNA type are worse.
