JERUSALEM (AP) — The death toll in Gaza has surpassed 40,000, health officials in the territory say, underscoring the magnitude of Israel’s offensive in the tiny coastal enclave.

In a world where facts are hard to come by, a biased presentation against Israel, is an incredible and longstanding tradition. Even the "Israel controls everything" is difficult to believe. I personally find it easy to buy into the anti-neocon narrative. So it is easy to belive that demonizing Israel is anti-neocon. But anti-Israel goes way back, is full of inaccuracies, exaggerations, lies and violations of common sense. Israel is NOT loved by the American establishment. Israel was demonized first by religious fanatics, like Al Husseini 100 years ago. He went an opened up an operation and radio station for the German Government and spread virulent religous hatred throughout the middle east on behalf of the SS and even recruited for them. Then after that, many anti-American governments jumped on the band wagon with the Soviets in demonizing ISrael as a counter to the U.S. Then many Gulf States, Qatar and Iran jumped in with incredible amounts of cash.
