If you want to use something use grain alcohol or high end alcohol 😂 from a liquor store. It was good enough to drink in college so it is good enough to put in a little spray bottle from the pharmacy or dollar store and spray on your hands. Don't drive and spray!🤣
Also Trader Joe's has some herbal essential oils that smell nice and they claim is antiseptic. It is in small convenient spray bottles in the soap section.

Different manufacturers use different chemicals and ingredients to make their masks and they are (at least in Australia) registered as a "medical device", which means they couldn't mandate them. 😉 When this farce began, it was a wild west of companies registering to produce masks and the TGA allowed all. Then they quickly amended the licencing criteria. 🤔
There is also the "masking cough", a persistent, dry cough, which is becoming more prevalent over the last 3+ yrs. But who could tell with all the scary multivariants cruising the globe, causing dry coughs, etc🤔😐😉

Thanks for mentioning Industrial Hygienists. That was me for 7 years at a Dept. of Energy site. Masks are terrible on visible particles, so particles at the micron level are definitely going to defeat them. Either through the "filter" material or around the sides of the mask.
