Their only goal is to make money, take bonuses and be promoted. Making clinical studies is a business like any other, and they are very proud that they run the game; it is like putting a child directing the traffic; they have no reflexive thought of what might happen if, for example, SAEs are not reported to the Regulatory agencies and medicines which are not safety (and many of them are not even effective, just more expensive) are released to the market. There are no GCP, laws and rules- only the irrepressible need to keep the flow of money going, with no other purpose than to make some of them richer and richer.
