so many different ways to describe the miracle of the human body. "science" only has a smidgen of a chance of replicating a portion of this undeniably irreplaceable complex system. even if it could, ethical lines should not be crossed

I love this bit and especially like the After Skool version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_L6AS1Huno) I shared in my first Recommendations Roundup:

Thank you Dr. Nass for starting my day off with a belly laugh. I’m glad that dear George is not here today to witness this madness.

How prescient he was about the possible “super virus” - can you imagine his routines nowadays- priceless - such a wealth of material for his intense outrage………..!

Wow! I agree with George 100%! I read recently Indian vegans are not Vit B12 deficient at Brits - because they are not as fastidious at washing their produce! Thanks for this little clip!

True. Vitamin B12 lives in the ground as a bacteria. The problem is for animal food lovers in our western countries, that most grazers that we have not evolved away from eating, no longer graze. They are fed in feedlots, so many people are B12 deficient. I receive much of my whole plant food knowledge from the evidence-based site of Dr. Michael Greger at: www.nutritionfacts.org

They are both good folks; however, Dr. G is more scientific in his pronouncements. While science isn't the whole truth, it is the best investigative method humans have yet derived. Dr. G does like spuds. His only qualm is that white spuds can raise the glycemic numbers so to cook, cool then re-heat them is the way forward...according to the peer-reviewed papers. Interestingly, Dr. M does not specify that purple spuds are the best choice since they are anti-inflammatory, once again, according to the literature so far.

George was the best in his day and today, it seems as though few ever equal him in their or his entirety.

He got it, better than most, and he told us the truth. Nobody was listening, then; now they turn back to listen to his warnings from the dystopian existence the told us was coming.

Comedians like Mark Twain, Will Rogers, George Carlin, and now JPSears, can get through to people with humor, when any amount of reasoning fails.

Lots of serious cussing; the decade-ago date reveals Carlin's prescience.

I'm pretty sure I ate plenty of dirt, but I never swam in the Hudson River...

Carlin's white blood cell patrols: "None of that 3-strikes-and-you're-out-stuff: It's BAM and into the colon you go!"
