I live in Ohio. Our governor DeWine sent cease and desist emails/letters to all Ohio pharmacies to freeze filling prescriptions for HCQ. I know this because my friend who’s an MD has a brother that is a pharmacist and I saw the directive. I didn’t know a non-medically trained politician could wield such power. That is just one of many reasons why DeWine got his wings clipped by the Republicans (He’s a RINO) in the OH legislature who took away his dictatorial powers. But by the time that happened his damage was done. Still, the little turd gets on TV and quotes the Bible, so he gets reelected by the many suckers that pervade in today’s society.
The trick to getting elected governor in OH is appealing to the almost equal split between democrats in cities and rural republicans. So, they have to pander to the left and the right. And the left have bigger mouths. So even when they profess to be a Republican they tend to lean left whenever possible. DeWine is a pro at talking out of both sides of his mouth. During the pandemic Trump came to campaign in OH. But DeWine smelling blood in the water wouldn’t be caught dead in a photo op with Trump so he pretended he had covid. After Trump left they said it was a false positive and he’s ok after all. A miracle! It was such an obvious ploy. But I have to give the little elf credit he is an excellent politician. And I don’t mean that as a compliment.
Did you read the article. Buzy the top French Health Official in France transferred HCQ from the over the counter without a prescription list to a poisons register at a meeting held on the 13th December 2019. They knew it was effective and Drs Bix and Fauci lied to President Trump.

HCQ was touted by President Trump...and my daughter had only one prescription. We both came down with CV-19 on the same day. She made me take her HCQ, because I was close to ninety. I took it and went to sleep at 6 pm and slept for 18 hours. Then I woke up and had breakfast. My daughter was sick in bed for two weeks. HCQ sure was effective for me. It was totally unethical and criminal that the Medical Industry lied about it and did not use it... because there was not enough money being generated from an off-patent drug.
This suppression of the viability of HCQ was the primary catalyst that got me to distrust everything coming from mainstream media since at the time a group of doctors and other medical professionals were openly stating that HCQ worked. So I needed to make a choice of who to believe. I chose the doctors for the simple logic that they should know what they were talking about and that there was no upside financial benefit to them. I remember experiencing dissonance for a time afterwards, which is what happens when one is compelled to shift their world-view. I stopped watching CNN right there - and have never given them or other similar equivalent outlets my time since.
I think there were several hydroxychloroquine manufacturer facilities blown up, set on fire etc, when the plandemic started. I remember writing on face book I was glad I didn't work in one of those facilities as it didn't seem safe.
I believe there are a lot of corrupt scientist that just say tell me what you want the conclusion to be and I will make the study show that.
Great summary document for us and for future historians. Agree with everyone's comments here. There were two factors which doomed hydroxychloroquine. 1. Once Trump mentioned he was in favor of it, the useful idiots with TDS revolted against it. There are a lot of these people and they are rabid. 2. Many slimy mendacious opportunistic bureaucrats and pharma people saw big $$$ IF they could push through emergency use authorization(EMA) for the vax which required that NO other effective medication existed. That's why they slammed hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. Incidentally Dr. Nass, I personally appreciate you noticing the toxic doses of hydroxychloroquine administered in the supposed gold standard randomized trials. Way back when the trials came out, I read the methods section like you did, and looked up prior uses of hydroxychloroquine for treating malaria. The malaria studies had demonstrated for decades the upper limits of a safe dose. The criminals who did the recent study gave toxic doses. I remember telling this finding to anyone who would listen but nobody would. Even my doctor friends thought it was not possible. I said READ the methods section yourself, but nobody would.
Terrifying to think one's government was making the one thing that could save you, impossible to obtain. Just the fact they were limiting safe & cheap was another check mark next to the box, "they are trying to kill us".
It is becoming increasingly clear that the federal regulatory agencies, in this case the Federal Department of Agriculture (FDA) have been captured by Big Pharma. My understanding is up to a million Americans died because the FDA aggressively discouraged the early use of Hydroxichloriquine during the Covid pandemic. A million American lives were lost so Big Pharma could push their dubious (at best) and perhaps intended to harm and perhaps kill vaccines on Americans. Big Pharma made billions off this pandemic. Am I wrong or is this one of the biggest criminal conspiracies in the history of the world?
I have been using that phrase in the present tense for two or three years with everyone with whom I discuss anything Virus, vaccines, or lockdowns. I add, "Start there. Now prove truth." When I tell them I was the most pro-vaxx guy they'd ever meet until four years ago and began seriously questioning all vaccines only two years ago, in most cases I open the conversation.

At no point has any virologist ever properly purified and isolated the particles assumed to be “viruses” directly from a sick patient and then proven them pathogenic in a natural way. As this is a fact that is even admitted by virologists themselves, it should also be obvious that if they cannot find the particles assumed to be “viruses” in nature, they cannot have a cure for something that doesn’t exist.

I found a WHO report from 1979 that investigated suicides with chloroquine drugs and so the WHO knew all about the dose
