We drove east on route 66 in 1965 from the Left coast to PA. I remember St. Louis (the Gateway Arch was half built), but not Times Beach. I do remember the newspaper stories, though. Today the EPA is more noted for its promotion of spreading toxic sewage sludge on farmland (see former EPA scientist Dr. David L. Lewis "Science for Sale"). Not just poo, but industrial wastes, too. I wouldn't trust them as far as I can spit, which ain't too far at my age.
This train incident is another false flag attack by the Brotherhood of Darkness. The 2021 movie, White Noise classic case of, I believe it's called, predictive programming.

CDC's Dr. Walensky sort of says "we don't care about the science" regarding the Cochrane Report that gives overwhelming evidence that masks don't work.

Gee...then when doing a bit more internet research, I read the following at the end of a wikipedia article on Times Beach. I realize wiki can have problems.
