AI can't (yet) fix the leak in your pipes, or rewire the junction box in your house, or paint it, for that matter. It can replace the apparatchik at the DMV, the "journalist" at the local paper or website, the insurance agent, the telephone receptionist. There will still be those "muscular labor" jobs that need to be done until they develop robot plumbers, carpenters, and electricians. That I think is a ways off yet, but many college-educated office workers (paper shufflers) should really start to worry about their career choices.
Autonomous driving vehicles may relieve the driver, but some human will still need to figure out which package gets delivered to which address, and make sure that all the other cargo is secure. To configure a truck with lockboxes to make sure the contents don't get stolen by light-fingered humans will be a challenge. Picking up a load of cargo from point A to deliver to point B might well be entirely automated but FedEX and UPS drivers will still be needed to sort out the cargo at the final delivery point (at least for a while), even if they don't have to do the driving part. It's not clear to me that Amazon drone deliveries are really scalable or if they can deliver more than just one or a few packages.
Not to say it won't happen eventually, but I think there's still a long development road ahead to replace some human workers.
