The opioid crisis in an interesting/germane case study of our sorry "watchdog" press. The lady who wrote "Dope Sick" kept trying to highlight what was really happening. She finally wrote a book that became a best-seller and then a very popular Netflix mini-series. The people trying to tell the truth were portrayed as ignored heroes. When I think about this, I think about all the journalists and officials who are trying to tell the truth about Covid cover-ups and scams. The lesson seems to be that you can, belatedly, write a book about Big Pharma poisoning people with opioids but you can't investigate an mRNA drug that's killing and harming many millions of our citizens ... or about iatrogenic murder. It's kind of like it was belatedly okay to expose Theranos. Some scandals are okay to expose (eventually), but not the really big ones.
I’ve learned that the “Rockefeller Medicine Men” will not allow exposing of new and ongoing genocide campaigns because the dollar amount invested is too great to have some meddling plebs ruin them until they have run their course.
