I tried to get it from the local library branch but it is only available in the reference library downtown and cannot be circulated for borrowing. I guess that means it's important enough to limit public access in Toronto.
It sure is! I ended up getting a hard copy from abebooks and it was the best $4 I ever spent (apart from that gigantic sundae we split with a couple of friends at a park, and we aren’t going to talk about that). It’s a short book but it took me a couple of weeks to read because of all the yelling at it and the checking up I was doing on the sources, but now I just keep either handing copies out or nattering about it like a monomaniac. So really recommended.
Thinking these gangsters in suits use our tax dollars as 1 big slush fund. Thinking that is why Trump is insisting internal audit groups to be separate from the organizations they do scrutinize.
Meryl, thank you so much for keeping us up to date on the latest examples of treachery by our captured government agencies! People need to know about these things.
On x I posted about Phoenix Initiative Zones…looking over that I see how immigration, climate activists, One Health and changing our law to a global governance environment all tied together. Pretty crazy🤔
Don't be so quick to throw the baby out with the bathwater. I worked for a NGO organization that was paid by USAID to develop agriculture in remote places that had been devastated by war. I beieve they accomplished worthwhile things.
And, if our tax dollars don't go to fund these organizations, I have no problem with them. But, our tax dollars are taken without consent and then funneled to these NGOs. That's where I have a problem. I don't care how much good they do. We need to get back to charity doing all of these things like they did for many years before NGOs started getting in bed with governments IMHO.
I was screaming about the labeling of "GMO" foods (I'm for it). The industries were using every excuse in the book as to why they couldn't (it would be too expensive... seriously??). I wrote many companies and asked them why if they were so proud of their product they didn't want people to know what was in it? Of course... I got crickets. I wonder if my name is on a list somewhere?
Why does learning this make me feel so sick when I am not even surprised?
I think it's just that its despicable nature has become so ordinary to us. Have you ever read Lords of Poverty?

There is no way to distinguish between government and big business interests; they are simply the same people and the same interests.
Yes just as Musolini described Facism 80 + years ago as Corporatism.

An endless sea of cronyism, fraud, and misdirection. Disgusting.
Is this a serious question? Samatha Powers funnels money from our bottomless inkwells for every country under the sun. Ukraine is nothing but a build back digital convergence country on our dime. Funding a digital governmental app for millions of our dollars. USAID also showing as builder of government website and all the high tech. I think the day before yesterday on X they posted how they were the pioneer of ONe Health education globally for TWENTY years . Yes, twenty. Their website is a ticker tape of trillions of dollars sent globally https://www.usaid.gov/news-information/press-releases/jan-18-2023-us-supported-e-government-app-accelerated-digital-transformation-ukraine-now-ukraine-working-scale-solution-more-countries
Does Kennedy know? Perhaps Elon & Kennedy can make changes on this.
Speaking of which, is there any reason we need USAID?

Well said. With zero accountability and a tremendous backlog of problems at home.
USAID reportedly is a CIA front.
Virtually all international aid organizations have ulterior purposes.
Yes. It’s a slush fund. As is FEMA. Tens of millions of FEMA going to Chicago to fund illegals.
Kakistocracy...

Are there any NGOs that are not slush funds?
