At p. 353-354, State of Missouri attorney John Sauer questions Fauci about his exchange with Emanuel. Sauer's questioning goes like this:

My reading of the data were weak and in normal times for normal disease. It is not enough to approve and very likely to really impact COVID-19 disease pattern regardless of supply issues.'

I don't see an exact date for when this Fauci-Emanuel exchange took place. I presume that it was roughly concurrent with Fauci's announcement from the Oval Office sofa that remdesivir was to be "standard of care."
