I deliberately didn't look into his background because I did not want to do an ad-hominem and thought the medical student (who as a year 7 PhD/MD is basically a doctor) was just saying Newsweeks position so it should be viewed as such and debated on the context of what was directly said there.
After I posted it I then found out he's been an attack dog in the nutritional community used to go after anyone who thinks a low carb diet is a good idea...
Yep the ole non apology apology and besides saying sorry doesn't get it done. We knew, courtesy of people like Dr Nass 3 years ago. These findings aren't new with fertility and cardiac issues. No one listened. Even worse, they tried to drown us out, shame us, take away our freedoms etc etc They play on our kindness and empathetic nature so don't get sucked in. You can be about peace, love and understanding but you can't negotiate with a snake...they are always snakes. My Ghandi will be emerge once my Genghis Kahn finishes the job. Scott Adams and Sam Harris tried to do the same thing. They just can't accept they weren't smart enough to see this so they label us "lucky coin tossers" who only got lucky because we were skeptical of govts. If we don't bring them all down this will just rear its ugly head, with new people at the top in a few years. I am fighting for my kids so they never, have to go thru this again as they won't have the wisdom to see what I've seen until its too late. Develop a catastrophic fund co funded by vax mfgs and govt. Any hospital that pushed this shit offers free medical care for life to any and all family members affected. Immediate investigations & jury trials into every govt agency, politician, media entity, down to the local level who effectuated laws which violated our freedom of medical choice. If we don't do it now, and just "move on" I guarantee there will be another "global health crisis" with which to change our very fabric of life yet again.
(Just need to say I have worked around medical doctors a good part of my working life and I support them and honor them for their sacrifice, just as I honor our military.)
All we were told from all quarters at the beginning was that “it” was new, unusual, big and bad and scary and “it” was spreading wildly and killing people all over the world, but we were never told what exactly “it” was.
Even the calm, level-headed medical doctors who had a voice-of-reason tone were not asking the right questions at the beginning. They seemed to a large extent assuming and accepting the premises of the official narrative.
It was a PLANdemic from the beginning and everything played out exactly as intended. No mistakes were made.
That is why I find discussion of “forgiveness” and “apologies” totally insult to injury.
This may be called fascism or any number of ism's but in reality it is communistic by nature with the aim to crush the people physically, mentally, financially and spiritually. Yes, and when the spirit is broken fear will replace that void. By then it will be too late.
There can be no amnesty when it is now clearly and widely known that the mRNA and adenoviral DNA so-called COVID-19 "vaccines" are really Dept of Defense "countermeasures" which are killing far more people than they save. Every day these products are not withdrawn people will die. Those responsible know this. No amnesty.
Hold each person accountable for what they did and said, for their attitude whilst proclaiming the jab. Was it smug and mocking or reserved and cautious? Big difference in my verdict on amnesty.
All (tens of thousands) of scientific papers about SARS-CoV 1 and 2 could be assessed, FREE OF CHARGE, on PubMed.
All one needed to know (except that which the criminals, led by Fauci, Collins, Birx, et al deliberately hid or censored) was there.
Moreover, one didn't need to know anything particular about the China-Virus to understand that NO ONE (especially ridiculous little local government "officials") had or has the right to mandate that you or I do ANYTHING:
-- No masks.
-- No quarantines (these same people don't quarantine the homos who spread drug-resistant TB and various other diseases all around the country).
-- No vaccines.
-- No "Passports".
-- No lock-downs.
-- No nothing!
Those who participated in these crimes will be found guilty by our juries, and if found guilty, will be executed by the American Mossad.
Excellent writing and important perspectives shared by A Midwestern Doctor. I agree wholeheartedly with his concerns relative to how to rehabilitate our medical and political system. We must be extremely careful to not laud statements that are vague and play on emotions, validating the harm done, but sorely lacking any real accountability or process for change. Without those elements, we are all just engaged in a long drawn-out instance of memory holing the whole affair. Big pharma and the great monolithic beast of administrative agencies have incentive to wait us out. It is hard to maintain critical mass moving forward without true momentum towards accountability. Not sure how we crack this nut.....need a few brave whistleblowers, a few sympathetic doctors and more than a few politicians who are not owned by the lobbyists.

maybe the author's feelings are genuine but his piece is being used to fill in some of the cracks in the narrative. the past 3 yrs have made us all so jaded (for better or worse).

I joined Twitter in 2019 as I wanted to get all the latest science papers and people’s takes on them for dietary advice regarding keto for brain health and general health and paleo for autoimmunity and low carb etc. I was shocked to see how nasty everyone was on Twitter ( good preparation for what was to come) but I’m sure I remember an obnoxious person with the name Kevin Bass who argued nastily with everyone. I was following Ivor Cummins ( a diet, covid, WEF/WHO good guy!) and Dave Feldman ( cholesterolcode.com) and Dr Paul Mason, Dr Nadir Ali and the low carb conference people. He was like an annoying troll, so if this is him ( seem to remember him having a big brown beard) I’m not surprised he’s at it again. If he’s a medical student then he’s a mature one, he’s no spring chicken.
Limited hangouts abound. I'm getting soooo bored of them. It's just tedious. In fact, an anagram of Emily Oster is... "TIRESOMELY"

I have taught in a medical school my whole life. When you see "seventh year medical student" you know everything you need to know...
