Unfortunately there is no place for doctors to study unbiased nutritional information. I discovered well over 40 years ago that the Food Industry supported nutrition schools and provided their questionable research. Students learned how to push processed foods. This has lowered the health of those who followed this research and ate processed foods. Cheap vitamins were added, which did not contribute to health; Plus, all the additives and chemicals were far worse. One has to do personal research in order to learn. I studied the nutritonal information of a man who achieved healthy old age. Dr. Norman W. Walker. He lived well over 100 and was out doing his daily five miles, when he was hit by a car...and died three months later. In my opinion, one has to study people who have track records. Most of the Bestsellers coming from many doctors have very little validity. I am a book buyer and check books out. I find the foods that are being recommended can create problems. I did nutritional consultations for 30 years and learned that everyone had very specific foods...and the wrong food(s) can harm the body.
