I don't believe that the FDA is licensed to practice medicine, nor should they be.

Expand full comment

What you mean is that the FDA shouldn't be licensed to practice medicine. You are right.

The Feds shouldn't be allowed to seize billions of dollars via forfeiture from Americans who have not even been charged with a crime, but they are licensed to do that, too.

The list of abusive crap the Feds shouldn't be allowed to do is longer than the spending bill that is the topic of this post.

In the face of this between 9%-30% of voters bother to vote.

Agreed. The "license to pilfer" the American people was granted to the federal gov't by the federal gov't, and is therefore rendered null and void. They only exercise that "license" by force (threatened or otherwise) illegitimately, and will continue to do so until resistance is substantial enough to counter them.

Everyone needs to get involved in their local elections and pay attention. Indifference is the fuel that lets modern tyrants thrive. Everyone should think of this like jury duty and dentist appointments - tedious but required to live a good life in a free society.

Anything I can think of to say would be unprintable in polite company... and would take up an awful lot of time and space. I'll stop here.

There is nothing in the Constitution allowing the “government” or any toadie agencies from having anything to do w/ the practice of medicine, much less f’ing regulating it

Thank you, Dachsie!

No one should have voted on a (Democrat-sponsored in this instance) bill they didn't read, didn't have time to read, and didn't have time to assign 20 staff people to read portions of and report back to them on the appropriateness of EVERY chapter and verse of this omnibus bill. I believe the hold-outs on the election of McCarthy as Speaker of the House made sure they had guarantees there would be no similar unwieldly omnibus bills while McCarthy is Speaker.

Let’s make this a place to recommend actions to take, not just commentary about how bad it is.

Others...perhaps Stand For Health Freedom, Dr Toby Rogers Utobian, Catherine Watt Bailiwick News, others will have recommendations. At the least let’s CALL and write our Congressmen now!!! And especially push the Reps who are MDs and others who have been standing up for us like Rand Paul and Ron Johnson. For sure the effort to keep our eyes on the onslaught of attacks to our Mefical free and integrity are immense. Please give your bwst ideas here...thank you!!!

If the medical industry weren't so corrupted, doctors could overcome these fascist, harmful laws. Unfortunately, the majority of doctors have proven to be either too cowardly or too corrupt to organize effective opposition against these anti-Constitutional and anti-Bill of Rights laws and mandates. So the small percentage of doctors like you - and the minority of public like us - have an uphill battle to fight.

every one of their 'regulatory' edicts is pushing the rest of us further and further towards leaving their 'system'. I don't need a health care provider to be licensed according to THEIR whims and pharma's insatiable greed. I don't need a pharmacist to be the gatekeeper of medicines. if enough of us leave this system, there isn't a damn thing they can do about it. I already have a health mentor who knows more about biological pathways than just about any MD with a Rx pad. vote with your dollars. leave the system, since its already left you.

I agree wholeheartedly until the last sentence. For they most certainly know what they do, every step of the way, and do NOT deserve forgiveness.

They have created a situation where the only remedy left is to shut down the FDA. The FDA and CDC are now a direct threat to the health and safety of everyone. And don't forget the crooked W.H.O. They are all no longer consistent with the survival of humanity and must be dismantled.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we as physicians just told the truth to our patients. Diet exercise and clean air and your own custom compounding pharmacy is pretty much all you need. Every damn psychotropic drug in my opinion may make you feel different but not better with tons of side effects. just look at the statin drugs they don’t help anything but make you demented period type two diabetes is healed by diet alone within weeks. Doctors should stop using their damn drugs. Of course there’s some exceptions but we as a society are severely over prescribed and Medicare Has to suck up to big Pharma for their blessing and high healthcare cost. Just like the Democrats the pharmacy is the enemy of the people

Given what they have tried to do with supplements like NAC, the handwriting is in the wall for pharma to prevent free choice of nutraceuticals as well, so not just prescribers are being affected! Every human being will be fettered and harmed if this wretched wording is not removed!

This is exactly why we cannot trust congress. These giant bills that never get read and whisked into law is akin to Communism and the consequences often further destroy our freedoms. I further expect these bums, all of them, to sell us further down the river before the next election.

After 2024, there will be no more elections. We will be living in the darkest ages since the founding of this country. The repubs and all their talk and committees and such are not going to change anything. It's all one DC Swamp fest run by the good-old-boys-club.

I disagree. I think there will always be elections, it is the counting that will be altered. And the counting will match the prevote and exit polls that are run the the State media, the Main Stream Media. All tabulated the "correct" way.

We will be allowed the illusion of democracy, but given the reality of Totalitarianism.

This seems to be the FDA way to encourage more tourism to Tennessee and New Hampshire where as I understand it Ivermectin is available without prescription. As a physician I would recommend patients studying up on the FLCCC preventive protocols and send some family members on vacation to these forward looking states. Certainly the bureaucracy is not protecting citizens now, if it ever was, which I doubt. Thank you Dr Nass for your work bringing this sort of dubious totalitarian overreach into the light of day.

Expand full comment

Unfortunately, Ivermectin is NOT available here in NH without a prescription. Conservative state representatives tried to make that a law last year. I believe Dr. Nass even testified in favor of the bill but it was defeated by the ignorant state reps. A watered down version was enacted whereby pharmacists MUST fill prescriptions for Ivermectin. They cannot refuse to fill or report the prescribing doctor. But try to find a NH doctor with the courage to write a prescription for Ivermectin or hydroychloroquine.

Expand full comment

That is disappointing to learn. So it is only Tennessee for now that is most forward looking. Surely making Ivermectin over the counter is the way to reduce cost and thus save lives.

Expand full comment

Yes. VERY disappointing. Especially after getting our hopes up when our few brave representatives in NH tried so hard to get that potentially life-saving legislation passed.

The government allows fentanyl and other harmful drugs to flow freely into the United States through an open border, but bans senior citizens from obtaining a cure for a serious disease. I think the Constitution bars government from interfering in private contracts, such as those between physicians and their patients.
