Great post. Just like in medicine, the plan is to capture, consolidate and control the entire sphere of agricultural production. And then to turn it against human consumers for profit, surveillance and control. Thank you Dr. Nass. Thank you Global Research.

It's intentional... "serves the market needs of global corporations, carbon trading Ponzi schemes and institutional investors and speculators with no connection to farming who regard agriculture, food commodities and agricultural land as mere financial assets."

Organic farmers markets too, whether indoor or outside. Also if you have the opportunity to buy, even on Thriftbooks.com where I purchased my copy or maybe find in your library (with a LOT of luck): A Bold Return to Giving a Damn: One Farm, Six Generations, and the Future of Food by Will Harris (Author)! You don't have to do it but you must know about it and if you find some people who want to work with you or interested in learning about it. Buy a book and share it with your neighbors, especially if they are open-minded, interested and willing.

The crucial issue is "patented" IOW a racketeering setup. This requires tinkering like GMO (mostly producing pesticide-resistant varieties) and synthetic crap in the same erroneous frame of mind once used for astronaut's food, consisting of a mix of chemicals. Resistance against the patented scala of toxic products has resulted in plans to eliminate classical and organic farming. The plan now being executed is from rising cost and shortage via unavailability to famine IOW "no choice but to eat the synthetic crap". Indeed a war on humans at large that should be met with asymmetric response.

Every time a collectivist government seized power last century, there was a famine. Are you expecting this one to be different?

"Regulation" is difficult, but once we have capitalism, it is inevitable. Remember that once an arguably de-regulated capitalism of free actors came into existence, the next thing was democratic political forms of governance were chosen. You cannot just wish yourself back to an "innocent" form of capitalism, it needs to be intelligently regulated, and yes that is for the greater good. Some care for "the greater good" is necessary under capitalism. And, if that is so, then capitalism was never purely "individual." It has social elements as well.

If I understand you correctly, I agree. “The Corporation” is a good documentary to see on this. Originally there was a process of assessing whether limited liability corporations were acting in the public good overall; that got changed!

That sort of thing, those ideas, such as that of advice to assess the level of the public good was trampled upon and now it is not even part of the conversation. There were such ideas in the 50s or 60s, but the proponents did not push strongly. Those ideas were ruthlessly supressed by an avalanche of intellectual opposition. I think Joel Bakan did a masterful job. I read the book

The fact of the matter is, if anyone accepts money from ruling interests, they will be controlled. We must divorce ourselves from money manipulation. Everyone. All businesses. Refuse government subsidies. All subsidies arrive with compliance requirements. Excellent column and video.

The "extremely wealthy unaccountable, unelected elite" may have made their living in capitalism, but they do not want to extend viable capitalism. They want to destroy it. Capitalism may be only a short-term sort of system, but it is flexible and could be intervened in, so it can be extended until something better can be found. This is generally termed "regulation." With no "regulation" (of any intelligent sort I mean) the rich eventually will try to destroy capitalism. In the more general sense, they want to destroy everyone else ---save their holy valuable "selves." They will not die either since they are going to be 90% made of electronic parts. Supposedly, right? So, the rest of us have to die for this dream, and that's the way it is.

Seems simple? As always, the elites create the problem then they offer to save us. Create a food crisis, offer to save the public from what you yourself create. All so they and only they can control the resources of the world, constantly trading out of self-interest, trying to create ever-more for themselves, they are the point of everything. They never see that there is no final outcome to all of this. What happens when it all comes to an end? At that point, are there only eight billionaires left and how do they continue to feed off of the rest of the human race? Or will have an army of "small investors" whom they play constantly against each other, one group winning now, another later? I can imagine this going on for some time! A system where the "super important" persons rule.
