Money pox. Marburg. Bird flu. Measles.

If it's pointy with a needle, give it to the peoples.

One shot, two shot, three shot, four.

How many shots till you say no more?

On final approach into Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific last night, even though we were all required to be masked, not a word about covid. But there was a long explanation about monkeypox, symptoms, and where we should report if we experienced them.

hmmm... vaccine/drug testing in The Congo?!?

The very thought of that has a bit of a nasty edge to it, if you ask me.

Maybe the DRC leadership should have a wee chat with India about the whole idea.

Here in Thailand I was told by a physician to never ever take a drug/vaccine that is offered for free. Mind you when I asked her, early on, about the covid 'vaccines', she told me to take whatever 'vaccine' I can right away. So... well, I didn't.

What is the general feeling about vaxs in Thailand now post the princesses ongoing issues. Is there push back??

Expand full comment

i would say little out loud push back at all, at least in the general population. Part of that is a cultural thing I would say. Still, it seems a lot of people did their duty and got the first two and then said no more. I think Thailand has paid out something like 40 million US dollars in vax injury/death compensation with more than 10,000 recipients. Canada, (where I'm originally from) I do believe has paid out compensation to something like 21 people at last count.

There's basically no news at all that i'm seeing about the dear princess's condition as far as I can see. Mind you, my Thai reading skills are nowhere near good enough to go through Thai news. But I think it is the case in thai language media as well. I've not heard anything more after Dr. Sucharit Bakhdi's riveting presentation of a few weeks ago.

A lot of people here are wearing masks still, though i've not noticed much in the way of dirty looks to those that don't. Again, a cultural aspect at work. Much like in Japan, the wearing of masks in public is nothing unusual. Still, so many wearing them, is. Maybe it's just like a piece of clothing to many. Also, in the north the smoky season is coming upon us and mask wearing is pretty common when the air is bad.

That's how I'm seeing it so far at least!

Thanks for your comprehensive reply. I had been reading in substack that the Thai government were looking to sue Pfizer as they lied about their trial results and many other things of course which would negate their contract. Hopefully that will happen.

Hoping to go to Chang Mai later in the year and looking to it. Love the Thai people and their culture

I so hope that Thailand will take on Pfizer as well. It's a big ask to be sure, but would be a tluly honourable thing for them to do. Though no where near a perfect response to the covid madness, and what was done was very hard on the population, I do think that Thailand's response to be much better than many other places, such as Canada, NZ etc.

Just a heads up, FDA is pushing to force soy, oat and almond to be under the category of milk. Up to no good to expand regulation and therefore what other forced interventions on these products?

If we saw all that they are doing behind the scenes it would make our head spin. Warp speed is the tempo now.

I recall the last ebola outbreak in West Africa (Senegal area) was traced back to the region's main Red Cross office/lab which was then burnt down and the Red Cross thrown out the country.

No more outbreaks since then in that area.

Surprising.

Obtaining FDA approval always seems to be the most important thing in these types of projects. In such countries, one can fiddle around with numbers nicely after giving enough money to the local government. In the book The Real Fauci by RFK Jr. we also read about the degrading conditions Gates and Fauci have caused in African countries.

Per 21 U.S. Code 360bbb-3-Authorization for medical products for use in emergencies .....Legal Info. Institute....If you don't have an alternative previously approved for use how is Remdesivir not the very thing that would have stopped the emergency use for vaccines? Is this something that has any legal ground?

I guess 'HCW" means Health Care Workers ? But I couldn't guess what DRC means. As a layman, it is always difficult to read when not every abbreviation is explained.
