The most frightening reason government employees are receptive to Digital ID and social credit scores is rather astonishing. Due process in the service of citizens is very hard work; riven with administrative error and loaded with adverse potential that can ruin the peaceful administrative order and lead to insider disfavor and ruined career progress for the employee.
However hard they may work at some things, there is an enormous and pernicious motive to foster and preserve indolence and reward selective sloth and laziness when it comes to protecting, preserving and providing due care of individual citizen interests entrusted to these trustees.

Years ago I stood next to pair of United Airlines captains having a bitch session about their jobs. There was the usual union distemper as they continued their mutually affirming bitchfest as they walked through the commons at DFW to their destination.
All of a sudden, one of the captains forcefully said: "You know, this would be the perfect job if it wasn't for the passengers." His fellow captain roundly concurred. They weren't joking.
Every time I see the SES elites and other bureaucratic supremacists testify before Congress, I remember those two United captains. Their testimony is too often dripping of duplicity and petit rhetorical obfuscation, and serial misuse of the passive voice. They see themselves as superior and as victims.
They are essentially saying the same thing I heard that day in DFW: "This would be the perfect job if it wasn't for the citizens."
The confluence of the SES culture and doctrinal caprice of our modern bureaucratic supremacists with the astounding and unprecedented political exploitation of software technology represents what is perhaps the greatest true and present danger threatening the American citizen today.
We cannot long survive as a citizen republic allowing an unconstitutional secular priestly class of bureaucratic elites with effete academic imprimatur to separate from the America people and detach from the citizen commons to find eternal careers in the bubble world of global bureaucratic supremacists now dominating the institutional infrastructure taking shape before our eyes.
There is no need for them to steal what they already control. The formation of malignant authority always ends badly.
