me too. Im looking for these kinds of states where you can see its people are having effects on where they will go and where they most definitely will not go, through their government.
Petition they must have used in Louisiana or doesn't Meryl have one? When people see how they are trying to take over every aspect of our lives they will sign it. State legislatures, reps need to be bombarded and local communities educated. They already sense something is very wrong.
Count my three cheers too! Our southern state has carried a stigma of being "backward" and "redneck" and looked down upon by the other states for that reason. But look which state now has stepped up to the plate, and bravely stood for justice and the liberty which was formerly instituted in the founding documents! I love this news and my hat is OFF to the wonderful people there! May their move be emulated and the forces of evil held in check!
Thank you! Now we have another state to consider in retirement. Where I’m from in Michigan we’ll get nothing but mandates, wokeness and DIE actions as our self aggrandizing Governor WHitler has demonstrated in the past.
Problem if the treaty is approved under article 6 of the US Constitution:
...and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.”
But if the "treaty" includes unconstitutional clauses, which abrogate the rights of citizens or states, then the state law, which will already be in effect, should take precedence. This would go to the Supreme Court.
Hurray for Louisiana! Now the other 49 states need to follow suit!
Excellent
It's too hot down there for me, but I may have to consider packing my bags...

Oh, I wish!
Unfortunately our Gov and legislators would do the exact opposite. So maddening.
Thankfully someone is standing for health , truth & freedom🙏🏽people are dying in droves
Three cheers for the State of my birth and heritage.

Yes Southerners have always had the stereotype of being stupid. But Senator John Kennedy has done a lot to dispel that one.
I know at least a half-dozen states that may not be interested but many more who will.
Wonderful 👏

Thank you, sending out widely and requesting our state do the same.
Yay!! Now let's hope these evil agencies don't do anything before Aug 1.
Brilliant! And the unity is what we need in every state.

It sounds like it can supersede the constitution & basic rights any individual has, but I hope you're right
Deo gratias.
