I don't dislike archive.org. Not at all. I think it's great. Awesome site. VERY handy. The search feature is robust especially the ability to search a range of dates. You can use wildcards. Plus they often properly archive entire videos.
I guess I am suspicious as to how transparent they actually are in reality. They may claim to be transparent in their TOS, but I have read several stories from people over the years claiming otherwise.

I see no indication of who owns or controls archive.today. Of course archive.org has some creepy connections, as that's where the money is. But it's transparent what they do, and they provide a useful service (even tho it is possible for website owners to request, and presumably obtain, removal of their pages (https://help.archive.org/help/how-do-i-request-to-remove-something-from-archive-org-2/))
