So the 'new government' has drafted the "Gene Technology Bill" just before Christmas, which will basically make any genetic modification to any food or medicine possible with only a single 'regulator' to bribe, full legal immunity to manufacturers, no labelling required.... basically carrying on where Jabcinda Ardern / Ashley Bloomfield left off.... Strangely, the 'opposition' political parties and mainstream media aren't saying anything, so it's all up to the citizens to raise awareness again to get this Bill binned.
