Unfortunately, this bill should have covered: Current Verified Voter Rolls/ Removal of deceased voters/ No ballots should go out, unless it is to a registered voter at a verifiable address. Voter ID required. No vote -by -mail. No drop boxes. Same day election results. These must be included and restored. This was the way it was done in the past. The bill mentioned these abominable ballot counting devices, which must be eliminated.
We shouldn't be vying for a democracy. Democracy easily disintegrates into mob rule. A constitutional republic offers the protection of rights. This in turn protects minorities in the face of mob rule. It may be a slow process - like overturning the separate but equal doctrine, but at least there is a conduit to overturn judicial wrongs in not protecting rights. I don't think it is unintentional that Pelosi and others refer to democracy and not a constitutional republic. They want mob rule. Ayan Rand does a great short video highlighting the distinction. https://youtu.be/ZV5arQxexyg?si=9xxFSYa4EsHYT0UE
I believe Naomi uses democracy in its literal definition as people-rule, not mob-rule. Our Constitution protects us against mob rule by preventing simple majorities from altering it. 2/3 or 3/5th votes are required to amend it.
I appreciate that. Naomi Wolf has great integrity and is a classic liberal like I am. Unfortunately, I do not think the media and elsewhere are using the word in the classic sense. I think it is to grease the wheels to reduce freedoms such as the First Amendment.
WA state has built a mail-in only Dominion counted voting system that is completely designed for cheating. Might be the worst in the nation. It will never change as its exactly how democrats want it.
When you use the word "democracy" - you show us you do not understand or appreciate the beauty and brilliance of our founding fathers to give us the US Constitution and a Republic. Please.
Stop touting democracy as what we should aspire to -- or keep!
We are designed as a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy. The more people, including our so called conservative leaders, use the word "democracy" in headlines, speeches, slogans, etc, to describe our form of government, the closer we get to socialism. Words matter. Use the right ones = Constitutional Republic.
It was never designed to be a Democracy. It is a Constitutional republic with an Electoral College. Operating in color of law. The descendants of Paperclip are operating USDOJ et al.
No it has been manipulated. Only property owners had a vote; the states paid the Senators and the Reps and did not pay them if they misbehaved. The only process since 1861 is de facto, color of law.
Here's a bit of hope from Charles Eisenstein, the writer---
"How will Disclosure come about? It requires a push and a pull. The push is from journalists, artists, and citizens who have ceased to tolerate their own pretense of belief. They no longer swallow obvious lies. They demand authenticity. They refuse the patron’s bribes and no longer cower before his threats. Then it becomes harder and harder to hold the lies together, and the urge intensifies among the secret-keepers to break ranks.
The pull, exerted on the secret-keepers (those who know that they know, and those who facilitate them without knowing that they know), comes from the world that Kennedy strove for, the America the man’s father invoked, a place that never truly was but that yet might be. He wasn’t seeing nothing. He was seeing a real future that shone into early 1960s America. It is still available. The damage can be reversed. The pull of that future on even the most jaded heart opens a portal to courage. And make no mistake, it takes courage to break ranks. Others will follow you. You know who you are. It is time."

Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.
Th Election Transparency, Accountability and Inclusion Act does not do anything to achieve honest elections. It just further cements the uniparty and gives people false hope.
The bill could ensure election integrity IF it mandates that states perform post-election forensic audits. To date, full forensic audits have never been done, not once, even at the precinct level. There have been a couple partial forensic audits, which is what took place in Maricopa county. A full forensic audit includes a deep dive audit into three areas of election voting: the voter (I.e. is the voter a legal citizen, did they vote only once, did they vote in the state in which they reside, etc.), the machines (did the machines change any vote totals, were they connected to the Internet, etc.), and the ballot processing (were ballots received on time, were they postmarked by the deadline, were the ballots stored securely, was there ballot harvesting, or no signature verification, etc). Each and every one of these things must be audited to make sure that the vote is not only legal, but that it was cast legally and handled legally in order to count. There are countless ways that our elections are being manipulated and unfortunately we still have no official forensic audit mechanism in place to catch any of it. So much effort is being spent to reduce the ability to create fraud (which is good) but meaningful audits could largely solve the whole problem!
Respectfully, you do not see the problem. By the time we "vote" the major rigging had already taken place. The entire architecture of the system is designed in such a way to present the populace with false choices. The dialectic presents "two" parties that are fundamentally the same, so choosing between them provides marginal differences. We have a one party establishment state that is protected by the legal system. Have you ever looked into ballot access requirements for third party ?
Getting people to focus on ballot counting, including "stolen" elections is a big red herring.
The chess board is what is rigged, while citizens focus on the pieces.
Again, this bill does nothing to fix our system. It doesn't really matter if you put Trump in office or Biden. Neither have much agency, It is kayfabe, has been for at least 50 years since the Goldwater era. The system is captured.
Even then it is not guaranteed. I worked directly with a candidate in 2020 who was the only person on the presidential ballot in all 50 states outside of the "main two". This took a monumental effort by tens of thousands of grass roots volunteers.. yet most people do not even know their name. From ballot access measures to media blackouts to non-existent debates, it makes zero difference what a third party does. The system is captured by the establishment. They produce their candidates to form their dialectic, which in turn produces the same steady results.
The NatSec state could never leave the fate of the "free world" to chance. We live in an administrative state where the people only have the illusion of power. Watching people argue over stolen elections and a pseudo insurrection would be comical if it were not such a malevolent scheme. We all will suffer as fools.
Much of the fraud occurs because there is no mechanism in place to catch it. Bad actors will always run amok when there are no consequences. of course there has been major corruption at the highest levels from those who aim to undermine America. Elections still matter, and can very much make a difference.
Outside of your local elections, they do not matter. You think the system has "bad actors", which is a bit naive. The system itself is a bad actor. The medium is the message..
I have spent 25 years in and out of state capitals including DC. The system isn't what you think it is. Your choices are an illusion and it is what has been coined as a "managed democracy." Our nation has been operated from a supranational point of view by our NatSec state. It took me a long time to see this and I understand it is difficult to swallow, but your vote truly does not matter. They have you running a recuperation scheme where all of your effort is placed on a hamster wheel. I used to be on it too.
Ask yourself, do you truly think Joe Biden and Donald Trump are the best we have to offer? It is theatre. It is the spectacle. They have you looking left when everything else goes right along to the same beat of the drum regardless what "party" is in power.
What is your solution to our current state? I don’t disagree with you, and what you’re telling me is nothing I’m not already aware of, but I’m also not going to throw my hands up and do nothing. I do believe, for the first time in my lifetime, that there is an awakening happening among people who are realizing that our reality is a fake construct, designed to keep us busy and distracted and divided, dumbed down and unwell - compliant workers - all while the elite of the elite pull the strings. This awakening gives me hope. Do you have any Hope and faith in our future?
Sorry this will be long. My solution? I have a few starting points, but I will get to that.
First, people need to be aware of the game. Most reasonable people understand something is wrong, and that does tie into the 'awakening", which I will get into. Some peole shut down due to feeling overwhelmed, others become apathectic. Some are happy to drink the milk. Some, get their energy redireced by a process called recuperation, which was coined by Guy Debord. It is where the system uses the momentum of a social movement to redirect it into something that is at least not harmful to its strucure. In the early 2010's the tea party movement was such a phenomenon, a dead end to expel political energy for the frustrated masses. This entire "election integrity" op is the same thing, it provides people with an outlet where they can see *results.* Unfortunatly any results are moot as it only serves to reinforce the system. There are many others but I do not seek to overwhelm.
They count on people who "want to do something" by providing them with the "what to do." I have been that person. What better way to defeat your enemy than to give them the narrative and strategies that will ultimately fail? This "awakening" is just mass society being mobilized into the reset, which is very real. Nothing more. BLM was another such tool to direct political energy effectivly so that it does not harm the power elite. The attack comes from and to "both sides". That is how the dialectic works.
By participating in these pre-determined outcome recuperation strategies, such as "election integrity" your energy and effort is being nullified from the beginning. This is what people must be aware of.. just doing something is not good enough. You have to be careful to not do the wrong thing, where you are converted to being a foot soldier for the very system you are seeking to change.
It is not a secret that we have been dumbed down and divided through schizmogenesis. Republican, Democrat.. makes no difference. Two sides of the same dialectic coin, a complete framing of the arguement for you. Most are too busy attempting to pay bills to notice they are functionality is the same to the empire. This is the war of the long game.
Beyond all of what I just said, which must be internalized as well as making oneself impervious to recuperation projects and other propaganda (which is ambient) , on the individual level it must start local. This is harder than it appears. Most counties in the USA already get most of their strategic planning strategies from central authorites. Things like Agenda 21 have been in play for decades, even in rural america. Sophistry is major. Local communities should do their best to actually control their local govenment. But that is like climbing everest at this point.
On a macro level, our Governemnt should be about 5 percent of its current size. Most of our rules and regulations are performed by unelected beaurocrats who are neither accountable to the public or even in the public's consciousness. But that is only a small part of our modern issue. We do not live in a democracy, a free country et cetera. We live in a highly integrated world of global public-private partnerships where most information that is of importance is either classified or is ommitted from the discourse in the public square. If we are to have the America some of our founders envisioned, our era of neo-feudal technocratic fascism must come to an end and all aspects of governance must be transparent. Everything now falls under national security, even our health. ( look into ARPA-H)
One small example, people need to re-frame how they view power. We have "private" companies all around us like Facebook that were created for surveillance (It was DARPA's Life Log program- see Whitney Webb invesitgative journalist) but mass society thinks it is just "big tech" and we can use the governement to protect us. Google (ARPANET) , Amazon, Microsoft et cetera.. All client organizations of the same government.
It is not we the people using governement to go against big tech. Governement created big tech to do privatly what it cannot do publicly, and when we use it to "regulate" big tech we merely enable the system to engage in protectionism and obfuscation... while making it impossible for organic startups to emerge.
So do I have hope and Faith? Truly only in Jesus Christ.
In general, society is too far into clinical domestication. I want to have hope that this world can get better. I do think it can, but it will take many, many more people stepping up and out of the system. This begins with avoiding recuperation and ersatz hopes. This means abandoning the systems which were built to contain us, like public education, and building new ones from scratch. Eventually, perhaps America (and everywhere else) can escape the boot of the power elite if it really wants to. However, people are too busy just trying to live and the systems that enslave us are very, very powerful. We aren't voting our way out of this anytime soon. We need a renissance.
I have written some on these topics, but I am just an average person who writes for catharsis. Previously I mentioned Whitney Webb, if you are interested you should check her out. (unlimitedhangout.com) There are many things at play right now and she covers them the best. We live in truly dangeous times. Our best hope may acutally be a huge solar flare. Maybe we will get this right next time.
Meanwhile, I suggest to people to live their lives with authenticity and meaning. Control what you can. Love more often and hate much, much less. They want us to hate each other, they want us to hate ourselves. This is the true resistance. Good luck to you.
As the Empire crumbles . . . Bluster and threats are not as intimidating to the rest of the world as before. Like Spain, France, and England, the US empire also will go down, and likely rather quickly once started. Has it now? Then it becomes just another soverign country.
Using audits is chasing an already decided issue after the fact. What will an audit do if a stolen election goes to a corrupt court? Answer to: nothing. The process must be reformed so there is no need for an audit.
If after voting reform has taken place, and there is a question of the result, an audit should be mandated.
You’re the one who brought up France, as if the population of a nation matters. NO IT DOESN’T! Having the corrupt Left running the vote is what matters!
Having a transparent, human–counted voting system works in France. Why is it they don’t need audits?
An audit is a defensive effort deployed after the game ended, it amounts to asking the referee to review the game after it was completed and the trophy already handed to the victor.
U.S. Congress passed the 2002 "Help America Vote Act" (HAVA) which established the U.S. Election Assistance Commission .............. always intrigued how small the connections seem to be between powerful people in Maryland ......... Linda Lamone, head of the Maryland State Board of Elections from 1997 to Sept 2023 ............. (appointed to that position by Maryland Governor Glendening 3 years after a fraudulent 1994 Governor's election in Maryland.... won by 5993 votes with 6000 votes without signatures found in Baltimore City according to Facebook comment by the actual winner Ellen Sauerbrey a couple of years ago........... found this article that talks about the 10th Ward in Baltimore City ... with specific streets that apparently are still the same area today and "word came from downtown" as to how many ballots were needed to put the power broker's pick over the top. https://www.marylandmatters.org/2019/08/06/erasing-history-baltimore-renames-park-strikes-all-trace-of-iconic-congressman/
I'm always intrigued by how the media tries to tell us things .... but can't be direct about it. It is deep within articles.
I remember in 1994 reports of polls being opened late, etc, etc, but the whole time they have just always had a back door to just put ballots into the mix ........... just threw in 7 more than they needed to win? crazy. Of course that is why Maryland Senate President Mike Miller was head of the State Senate from mid 1980s to 2021 when he died I believe it was ... ruled with an iron fist. State Senators from our county did things you would never expect them to do on education it never made any sense. Turns out Linda Lamone has been and still is the Chair of the Maryland Attorney's Grievance Commission at 80-81 years of age so she is able to use that position to influence any lawyer that threatened her influence or that of State Senate President Mike Miller. Who interestingly enough ... his state legislative district overlaps U.S. Congressman Steny Hoyer's district ... #2 in the U.S. Democrat House behind Pelosi who has long long family roots in Baltimore, Maryland. Her father a long time mayor, her brother a mayor over the time of the 1968 riots. Her father a congressman from the 3rd Congressional district from Maryland back in the 1930s. Interesting that Linda Lamone's husband Rudolph Lamone had these connections to University of Maryland that has some professor or employee who has some connection to that group that was the go between the Wuhan virus lab and the U.S. funding. My beloved Maryland. My friends and neighbors and family deserve better government. https://www.rhsmith.umd.edu/news/smith-school-mourns-passing-former-dean-rudolph-p-lamone-1931-2023
Linda Lamone has been on the U.S. Election Assistance Commission's Advisory Board ...Board of Advisors for years .... at least from early 2000s to when she stepped down from the Maryland State Board of Elections last year. It is hard to find the webpage now, but she was even Chair of the Executive Committee of the 35 member Board of Advisors in 2015 .... a year long position.
There are three HAVA-mandated federal advisory committees that help the EAC complete its mission. They are: (1) the Standards Board(opens in new tab), (2) the Board of Advisors(opens in new tab), and (3) the Technical Guidelines Development Committee (TGDC). Each board is composed of experts from the field and representatives of the government. In 2021, the EAC also established the Local Leadership Council composed of two election official leaders from each state.
HAVA mandates that the Standards Board and the Board of Advisors shall review the Voluntary Voting System Guidelines (VVSG) and best practice recommendations. The TGDC is tasked with drafting and recommending versions of the VVSG. After drafting and finalizing a recommended version of the VVSG, the TGDC presents the VVSG to the Executive Director of the EAC. The Executive Director then presents the VVSG to the Standards Board and the Board of Advisors, both of which review and provide comments to the Commission.
Thanks for sharing. I will contact my state legislators to make sure they compare it to current statutes and consider making adjustments where we might have weaknesses.
I really admire people who still have dilussions that after 2500 years of failure since Cleisthenes democracy is achievable... I guess some want their illusion to become real... lol
While I agree that honest elections are preferable, I don’t think the result of any election is true democracy. Unless and until the sovereignty of the individual over his person and property are held sacrosanct, the best we can hope for is soft tyranny.
Amen! Thank you for helping share this. Someone suggested adding a requirement for a watermark on each ballot—something proposed by Mark Finchem in Arizona. It’s a good idea; when people send it on to their representatives, they can consider adding that.
Unfortunately, this bill should have covered: Current Verified Voter Rolls/ Removal of deceased voters/ No ballots should go out, unless it is to a registered voter at a verifiable address. I think the average bear doesn’t even know there is an “automated” vote counting device.
Is there really any valid "automated" vote counting device that can be trusted, which has not been fixed???
True the Vote has been fighting this battle for many years.

France is a fraction of the size of the United States.
And the United States is a fraction the size of India! How do they do it there?
You tell me?
You’re the one who brought up France, as if the population of a nation matters. NO IT DOESN’T! Having the corrupt Left running the vote is what matters!
Completely incorrect. Having a forensic audit would negate the need for a court to even make a ruling on whether to investigate.

Advisory Boards
Wednesday, January 17, 2024
There will never be honest. Elections again in the US
There certainly COULD be. It's up to us.
Bullshit Melda.
