Colds come from viruses. I had colds, covid, measles, mumps, german measles, chickenpox--all viral diseases that spread from person to person.
If there are no viruses, please explain why I was sick and why I can identify, in some cases, who I caught them from. Why I got better when my immune system recognized them and fought them off.

Viruses and manmade viruses are not transmissible/contagious/indiscriminatory as they are NON-LIVING, or we all would be sick all the time without a break! Viruses are created by your own cells when the disease state of your body dictates that it needs toxin detoxification.
