In that photo of Jen Easterly, she looks to be under duress, as if she is compromised (by one of the 4 main ways that you can compromise other people).
This is amazing. I want so badly to hope. As a Canadian though, all I can do is cheer from the sidelines north of the border in the Orwellian gulag where the Notwithstanding clause of our Charter of Rights and Freedoms gives any branch of government -- including the unaccountable, unelected, unresponsive, anti-democratic, anti-scientific WHO-controlled Public Health branch that controls the WEF-cloned Prime Minister -- total freedom to abuse our Charter rights as long as it (the agency doing the abusing) deems it 'reasonable'. I doubt Canadians will ever see the equivalent of what Judge Doughty is doing. Besides, King Charles wouldn't allow it.
I think I may have just realized something about the gestalt of this institutionally pervasive postmodern cult of administrative authoritarians and their proclivity for tyrancy.
I sense their identity is driven by deep inner need to infantilize others as an emotional device to secure their fetish with perpetual condescension as a secure source of narcissistic supply.
If these people are not fundamentally insane, they do seem to be well down the path of indulging promiscuous cruelty toward others. Beware the high-functioning mentally ill.

I watched a continuing education class on technology. The presenter, a genteel Southern guy, warned not only of this but also of coming technology linking our brain to the web so that it will be difficult to know if our thoughts are our own or fed into us.
This is why words and descriptions really do matter - they have legal implications. Laws and regulations often had a definition section - this is where the harm can be done and few read this boring section. The defined words can be altered to to effect the intent and reach of the regulations. In the past, changes to the meaning of words and the introduction of new ones occurred slowly - they evolved with changes in society or were introduced intentionally to either get the citizens to accept the use. Labels are put on things which although we know are incorrect, they are seldom challenged and often repeated or accepted - a small step is to start challenging these labels. So when you hear statements like everyone knows x is a (racists, denier, conspiracy theorist....), stop and ask the person to explain why they are saying that - what do they mean and what is their proof.
Most of the time, the person has never thought about it, but has heard it so many times it has become common. The pace of redefining things over the past 4 years is purposeful and we really need to be aware of it and start challenging the redefinitions. Then we have words that are intentionally not defined - they are fluid and perhaps far more dangerous. Consider the use of terms to justify censoring on the grounds of communicating information that goes against the governments' established narrative - none of their terms are defined - that way they remain flexible and their classification of such is subject to the whim of the enforcer. Companies use to refer to their workers as employees - this evolved into human resources and now it is human capital - there is a reason for this descriptive evolution, from individual to commodity.
I’m soooo glad I’m old. Never thought I would be saying that. Heaven looks better every day and just think I’ll never see Obama, Biden, the Clintons etc ever again. Now that is what I call Heaven., God says the evil ones will be thrown into the lake of fire for all eternity. These evil people don’t know God nor do they have a clue what’s in store for them.

Language can be shaped to change a part of a countries constitution, but it can never change opinion when it takes away your right to think.
"Undermines trust" is a tactful way to put it! Most of us would prefer to say, "Go back to hell." The nerve of these SOB's!
