The fundamental issue, however, it that a corrupt organization by nature does not cleanse itself. The political system and the powerful moneyed interests that control it will never allow these reforms to take root. They made it this way for a reason and there's too much interest in maintaining the status quo. America, and really the whole world, is a global cesspool of corruption.
I still believe that the pledge itself has a major flaw outside of the stipulations within it. As you state in most of the footnotes, the constitutional rights have been infringed. This means legislation was in place, and corruption rendered it benign. For your first tenet, renewal for the 2 weeks emergency declaration must be publicly debated and approved by legislators. This is akin to the FDA VRBAC meetings that you are surely aware of, where the public did participate and the decisions remained unanimously heinous.
The issue isn't the pledge, its the corruption in the system. The same applies for your 4th tenet; ban on gain of function research. Who will determine if GOF research is being conducted? Who will supervise the reporting of such research? If there is no transparency with respect to the public of what exactly takes place in top secret bio labs, top secret GOF experiments will undoubtably take place.
The first step here needs to be a complete overhaul of the infrastructure surrounding GOF and the regulatory agencies that govern it.
The reason for the pledge is to point to ways some of the broken pieces can be fixed. And to get politicians on notice and make them accountable for supporting this, or not.
Of course it will take much more to fix our world, but this is one tool in a large toolbox, and it clarifies where some pivot points exist.
Hi Dr. Nass, I sympathize with your idea, but I fear that it is being applied far too late. Words, promises, pledges, contracts, laws, all work for those that are honest and virtuous, not for those currently in power. Normally, this would be the proper way to address corruption and enable discussion around these topics. However, after almost 3 years of playing plandemic, and millions suffering needlessly, I believe that true leaders need to start playing by their own rules; the WCH trying to usurp the WHO and championing a better way forward, would be one such example.
I also fear that each leader (such as yourself) in the fight against the narrative, has picked their own battle, and has lost sight of the bigger picture. We need to stop the jabs, especially in children, as soon as possible and ensure that this never happens again. This means that we need to group together on one idea, assemble a majority, and make our voices heard. Im pleased to see the developments in Florida and recently Texas, among a few other states. I believe that this is the narrative's weakness, and that this is where all efforts should be pointed, one state at a time in concerted effort.
In order of importance, i would champion the following issues;
1. Medical freedom
2. Ban on covid "vaccines" and paxlovid
3. Ban on government funding from corporations or private entities
4. Complete transparency on gain of function research. (Banning this would mean it happens behind closed doors)
5. Emergency powers are restricted to a UNANIMOUS vote among elected leaders and representatives. Conditions for the duration and stopping of the emergency are specified pre-vote.(This would ensure it is truly an emergency).
I believe that after rights are restored and further harm is averted, the most important thing to do is track the money. If pharmaceutical companies have no opportunity for profit, and neither does the government or its various agencies, then there will no longer be any incentive for crimes against humanity. Stopping the flow of money to these corporations and agencies is of utmost importance, and it needs to start now.
Gain-Of-Function research should have been banned years and years ago. The people who have continued to fund GOF need to be held to account for unleashing the COVID virus on the world.
One of your previous commenters suggested defunding the World Health Organization. I agree fully. The WHO is delinquent in so many areas. Near the top of the list of the WHO's failings has to be not leading a global initiative to ban GOF.

Agree 100% with all your objectives, except the one about "propaganda". We agree propaganda is bad, but your goal has to be more carefully worded to not infringe on Constitutionally protected Free Speech. For sure, directly or indirectly State funded propaganda must be stopped, that's fraudulent use of our Taxes.

We urgently need pledges about halting the covid shot program for children to create safety and solidarity among health care providers who want to speak out, but are afraid to do so. Most will only go public about their vaccine injuries and deaths concerns when they feel safe enough from bullying medical boards. The solidarity of a critical mass of thousands of signing health care providers will create the safety for them to speak the truth. Here in Washington state, where we are approaching the 1000th day under Gov Inslee's State of Emergency tyranny, we are mobilizing a similar pledge to pro-actively stop the state from mandating covid shots for school kids. I know you have been busy speaking truth to the Maine licensing board, Dr. Nass. When you have a moment, please let us know when you think this Pledge is ready to hit the mountain and start snowballing. Cheers!
