The IHR Emergency Committee on the multi-country outbreak of mpox held its fourth meeting on 09 February 2023. Having considered the views of committee members and advisors as well as other factors in line with the International Health Regulations (2005), the WHO Director-General determined that this outbreak continues to constitute a public health emergency of international concern and issued revised temporary recommendations in relation to the outbreak.
Yet here is how serious moneypox actually is, acccording to the moneypox team at WHO. Most of the cases were occurring in Latin America, with only 8 new cases reported outside the western hemisphere in the past week!

• Since the last situation report published on 16 February 2023, 313 new mpox cases (0.4% increase in total cases) and eight new related deaths have been reported to WHO. [Not ‘due to’ but instead “related”—where have we seen this scam before? Nass]
• The latest epidemiological data suggests the outbreak is heading towards an end in the European Region, and slowing down in the Region of the Americas where human-to-human transmission occurs. [It is DOA in the US—Nass]
• In the African region where the infection also occurs through contact with infected animals, the epidemic curve shows more sustained transmission, reflecting mixed patterns of human-to-human transmission through direct or sexual contact as well as outbreaks due to zoonotic spillover events.
• In November 2022, a vaccine called OrthopoxVac was licensed in the Russian Federation for immunization against smallpox, mpox and other orthopoxviruses according to the rules for registration of medicines of the Eurasian Economic Union…
We need to quit complying in an organized way, like U.S. states and counties just withdrawing from the WHO.
